Dental School
Hye there! Well i suddenly decided to write again after soooo long.In this post im going to talk about dental school. Recently i just finished my year 1 as a dental student(yeah somehow i went to dental school gais lol). So....... i going to tell all of u lil bit(well bnyk act) about my experience and what i did. Uh before i start, keep in mind that this is about what me as an year 1 dental student of faculty of Dentistry experience. Im not sure about other uni.
There's nothing much happening during sem 1 except for having classes from 8 am-5pm everyday. What classes we have? Haa ni nak cte ni. We have Basic medical science, PCPD,computer science,english and TITAS. Letmeh explain 1 by 1 k. So basic medical sc aka BMS(uh btw medic pun ambik course ni jugak so thats the similarity) is a course that have 7 subjects which are anatomy,physiology,biochemistry,microbiology,pathology,pharmacology and oral biology. For pcpd we only have classes for about 4-5 classes i think(in 1 sem). This course is about dentistry(lol thats a poor explanation). Hmm dia mcm early exposure to what dentistry is la i rase sbb we have like trip to dental clinics, lecture about ethics to patient haa benda2 mcm tu la. Comp sc,english n titas tu tkyah explain kut lol malas.
Ok lets go to sem 2! I excited nak cte pasal sem 2 aherher. So sem2 is the real game. Seriously. Why i said sem2 is the real game? We started to enter simulation lab. Meaning that we started to see what really dentistry look like. But we still have the BMS courses, english,titas uh but sc com tukar ngan mandarin. So can u gais imagine having all that courses :') Simulation lab sem2 only have 2 subjects which is Operative Dentistry and Prosthodontics. Operative dentistry ni pasal tampalan ape semua tu la and prosto pasal gigi palsu. So when u enter simulation lab meaning that mesti ade project u kena biat kan tkkan la masuk untuk selfie ngan dummy(patung dlm sim lab) je kan lol. There are 21 projects(if im not mistaken) for ode and 1 project for prosto utk sem ni. 21 projects for ode tu semua almost semua resto(masa awal2 sem ade 2-3 projects bukan resto) but heyy restoration pun bukan main tepek2 je tau.

And prosto lol nampak je prosto mcm sng en sbb 1 project je en but yeah benda alah tu la yg buat kteorang lambat start cuti :') So project prosto is kena buat 1 complete denture. Denture tu bukan ade machine buat dia tau gais mcm printer. No no kami lah printernya lol.
